Ben Trickett AKA Tricky, based out of Tauranga, has been involved in the NZ music scene for over 7 years, with strong ties to the Audiology crew.

Ben has DJing since he was a teenager and his passion continues to grow. He has worked as both site management and a performing DJ at music festivals such as Bay Dreams, Mardi Gras, Le Currents,Sound Splash and more.

Ben loves all forms of electronic music but his passion for Drum N Bass has been dominant through his career. He’s played support for world class DnB internationals such as A.M.C, Kanine, Camo & Crooked, sub Focus, Friction and more. He is the founder of Spin Craft DJ academy and is now sharing his passion and love of music by teaching the next generation of DJs.

Ben is super excited to jump on board with the team at Mauao Performing Arts Centre.
