DRUMS - PERCUSSION
Drummer/Percussionist from Tauranga. Became professional back in 2002 tutoring drums & percussion, playing in various original and cover bands. Nick also takes the drum throne as the resident drummer and facilitator at Mount Brewing Co Brew Bar, Mount Live Lounge jam night in Mt Maunganui. 

VOCALS - GUITAR - UKULELE - MANDOLIN
Melissa Cox joined the Mauao family in June 2015 as a Vocal Tutor. She also teaches beginner acoustic guitar, beginner and intermediate mandolin, beginner ukulele, contemporary songwriting, composition, lyric writing, and theory.

DRUMS - PERCUSSION
Hailing from the most Welcome of Bays, Sol has had two decades to sharpen his technique behind the drums, and almost as long performing to audiences in one band or another.

PIANO - KEYS
Selina has 32 years experience having studied the piano through The Royal School of Music grades 1 to 8 then qualifying with her ATCL Teacher’s Diploma through Trinity College.

Drummer, guitarist and music lover originally from Jersey, UK. Excited to take a tailored approach to each student teaching instrument fundamentals, playing along to a range of music and keeping things fun!

PIANO - BRASS
I'm Federico, a versatile musician with a passion for jazz and funk. With over a decade of experience, I've honed my skills across various instruments, including piano, trombone, trumpet, saxophone, bass, and guitar. My musical journey began at the age of 12, and since then, I've immersed myself in the art of improvisation.

DRUMS & PERCUSSION
Originally from the sunny Hawkes Bay, Stan Bicknell is a New Zealand based drummer who for the past 12years had based himself out of Melbourne, Australia. Over the years he has toured and recorded with many artists locally and internationally including 48May, The New Caledonia, Kimbra (NZ), as well as Miami Horror, Tonight Alive, & Ecca Vandal (AU).

BASS - GUITAR

My name is Max Stowers, I am a professional musician who has been residing in Australia for the past 12 years and and have worked  in all facets of the music industry for the past 40 years. From music tuition to touring, studio work, live performances, sideman, original artist. My main instrument is bass guitar then guitar, ukelele, basic keyboards and drums. I have taught in a range of schools, polytechs in Auckland over the years and in Sydney. I would really love to pass on the knowledge that I have to keen talented kids who are passionate about music.

Claire is an enthusiastic and fun teacher from Northern Ireland who has been playing music since she was 8 years old. She began by learning the violin and tin whistle in primary school and since then has been involved in an array of different artistic and musical projects.
